Javea - Local Towns: Teulada-Moraira

This union of two towns, with the unusual fish auction held every day from Tuesday to Sunday.

The town of Teulada is situated 200 metres above sea level and offers wonderful panoramic views. A well-known product of Teulada is Mistela, a sweet wine which is made locally and very popular with the tourists.

Worth visiting is the Plaza de la Creu square, with its surrounding streets, the Divina Pastora chapel, the Santa Catalina church and the Casa Adabia.

The coastal town of Moraira has a wonderful yachting harbour and port where visitors can wander round, and the picturesque streets, old castle ruin and various monuments are also worth seeing.

Market day is Friday.
