Javea - The Port

Known as Andunas del Mar and dating back to the 15th century this area features the modern church of "Our Lady of Loreta", constructed in the shape of a boat's keel.

The port area is a busy commercial and tourist area, with an additional tourist information center and a promenade lined with bars and restaurants.

Feel free to stroll along the promenade, sunbathe on the beach or dine in one of the many fine restaurants that provide stunning views over the water.

If you are self-catering you can visit the local fish market and see the daily catch of Mediterranean fish being unloaded and auctioned.

You may even be able to pick up a bargain for the evening!
