Javea - The Arenal Beach (Playa del Arenal)

This is the most popular sandy beach in Javea.

The Arenal has sunshades, pedal boats, jetskis and boat hire with an expansive, gently sloping beach that is ideal for safely walking into the warm sun drenched waters.

Golden sands and safe bathing make this area a magnet for families with small children. There are playgrounds, sand sculptures, beach volleyball and lots of fun for children of all ages.

At night the promenade comes alive with market stalls and street traders, ("lookey-lookey men"), selling watches, sunglasses, leather goods and a whole range of souvenirs that you can take home as a reminder of your stay in Javea.

Scores of bars encourage you to sample their food and drink, with a selection that almost covers every country in the world – Spanish, English, Mexican, Indian, Italian, Thai, French…… whatever takes your fancy.

With Spanish traditionally eating late, you can expect this area to be busy until the early hours providing a safe family environment for all nationalities to enjoy the warm summer nights.
