Denia, near Javea, Costa Blanca

Denia, a town near Javea, has something for everyone. The town is a delight to visit with narrow streets lined with tables and chairs, fishermen's district, Gothic-style Town Hall and the wonderful castle, which contains an ethnological museum. An Arabic atmosphere seems to linger, from the architecture to local works of art and décor of the town.

The busy port is one of the Costa Blanca's most important, with regular ferries arriving and departing for Ibiza, Majorca, Formentera, Javea, Calpe and Altea.

On one side of Denia is the Montgo Mountain, which was declared a natural park in 1987. There are also beautiful views from the park of clear blue Mediterranean Sea and sandy beaches.
