Javea and the Costa Blanca
Javea consists of five diverse areas, which offer a cross-section of old, and New Spain providing interest and entertainment for all family members.
The main areas of Javea are:
Towns near Javea:
We recommend you visit Denia, a family resort with a scenic coastline just north of Javea along the Costa Blanca, and the picturesque towns of Teulada and Moraira, which are slightly further down. Both are easily reachable by car while enjoying views of the coast, and are well worth a visit.
Costa Blanca Golf:
There are upwards of 12 golf courses on the Costa Blanca and 2 within easy reach of Javea (Javea Golf Club (Club de Golf Javea), La Sella Golf Course (Club de Golf La Sella)). All are affiliated to the Spanish Federation and consequently can validate members handicap internationally. All have golf clubs for hire and most, if not all can provide coaching.
Costa Blanca Market Days:
Markets are from 9am to 1pm (great for good bargains, fresh fruit & vegetables), and are on the following days:
- Javea - Thursdays
- Denia - Mondays & Fridays
- Moraira - Fridays
- Benidorm - Wednesdays & Sundays
- Pedreguer - Sundays
Costa Blanca Diving:
Amigos Del Mar Dive Centre is located in Javea on the Costa Blanca coast of mainland Spain, only one hours drive from both Alicante and Valencia airports.
